On 11th July, Asda in Byker (NE6 2XP) have kindly agreed to us greeting customers and asking them to buy something for our pantries (both Pop Up Pantry and Byker Pantry). This is a great opportunity to increase food stocks to keep our pantries running and helping hundreds of families each month to access more affordable food.

We need a team of people to help at various times through the day to speak to customers, collect donations and transfer donations back to our storage hub. If you haven’t done this before, we will give you guidance and pair you up with an experienced person. We often get around £1,000 of food donations on these days, so they really are valuable.

Can you spare an hour or two? (or more!)
